Fix red eyes in Photoshop CS3

The easiest way to fix red eyes and get excellent pictures is to take pictures without red eyes to begin with. Well, I'm not that good a photographer myself. I maybe get one good picture out of fifty. I really appreciate the digital camera. Often, a picture will be good, except for those red eyes. So, this is how to fix the red eyes in Photoshop CS3. The changes are similar in Photoshop Elements, but the tools are in slightly different spots.

Open up Photoshop

Select "Open" from the File Menu

Find the directory with your picture. Select the picture and hit open.

Select the red eye tool

The cursor will change to a plus sign after you select the red eye tool. Take that cursor and draw a box around the red eye.

Once you release the mouse button, the eye will be fixed.

Fix the other eye, and then save the file.

Select the file type you want and hit save.
