Information collected for the newsletter
For the Shiny Newts newsletter, we collect your first name and your email address. Shiny Newts will not sell, rent, or trade your email address and name. The newsletter email list is strictly for Shiny Newts newsletters and the occasional, and rare, special announcements.
General information regarding you as a client
Shiny Newts asks for your name, company name, address, city, state, zip, email address, relevant phone numbers and web page. This is just standard contact information and is needed for billing and normal communications. Since Shiny Newts doesn’t do travel arrangements and various other administrative functions, Shiny Newts has no need for your birthday, credit card information, SSN, or EIN.
Information collected for web site design, maintenance, widget integration, or SEO work
To effectively work with your web page, Shiny Newts collects the following information:The company your website is hosted with, URL, and control panel Login information including the username and password If, and only if, domain redirection or registrations need to be done by Shiny Newts, you’ll be requested to provide your domain name registrar and login information.
How does Shiny Newts maintain your privacy and data security?
Shiny Newts keep data password protected. Our computers and hard drives are located in areas where random people cannot get to them. NewtNet is password protected and encrypted. NewtNet is behind a hardware firewall. We may keep copies of email and letters.

Webinars and Teleseminars might be recorded. Our email filters through Google mail. Anything sent by email can be retrieved by others. Think of email as sending a postcard. Please don’t send all your identifying information by email, and definitely do not send everything in one email.
Shiny Newts won't give out your information to people who do not need it. You define who needs it.
